Entrance Procedures
Prospective parents are invited to come to King's to meet the Headmaster and to have a tour of the school with the Registrar. Following the visit parents then decide whether to register their son or daughter for a possible place at the school. Children who are registered for entry in the Reception class are invited to come and spend some time with the class teacher during the autumn term prior to entry. Places are offered after the visit has taken place. Children who wish to join the school in Year 3 are invited to come for an assessment in January prior to entry in the autumn. Priority is given where possible to siblings and to children with other connections with King's. Applications for places for older children will depend on whether there is vacancy and on individual academic assessment.
