Hervé Sánchez is a charismatic Head of Department. A native French speaker of both French and Spanish extractions, he has lived in Britain since 1991. M Sánchez teaches French from the Reception class to the Year 8 Common Entrance and Scholarship sets, and Spanish to the Year 8 once all exams are completed. |

Madame Grimal has a very long experience of teaching Modern Languages having joined King’s College School in 1968. She graduated from Manchester with an Honours Degree in French Studies and a First ClassDivision in her Post Graduate Teaching Diploma. She attended the Faculté d’Arts et de Lettres at Toulouse University as part of her degree course. Married to a Frenchman, she has one bilingual son. Of Austrian descent, she also can and does teach German. She learned Italian at school and has tried to keep it up. At University, she took Spanish as one of her subsidiary subjects. Mme Grimal teaches French in Year 3.

Monsieur Rétho is a native French speaker who was born and raised in Pau, in the South West of France. He came to Cambridge to do a PGCE at Homerton College where he graduated in French and Spanish. He teaches French from Year 1 to Year 7.
