Design and Technology

The design and technology teaching in the pre-prep provides the necessary experiences and skill to enable the children to tackle the design work carried out in the main school with interest and enthusiasm.

This scheme of work intends to excite and stimulate the children, providing enjoyment and satisfaction for children of differing abilities.

Design and technology draws upon basic skills from other curriculum areas e.g. art, maths and science. Pupils undertake the following activities: 3D modelling, papercraft, textiles, construction using kits and rigid materials and food technology.
